Gravity feed
adapter
Check gravity feed adapter (1) and fuel
hose assembly (2) for leaks.
Inspect fitting (3) on gravity feed adapter
(1) to ensure that it is not bent, dented, or
damaged in any way that would prevent a
good, leakproof, seal with the fuel hose
(2).
Inspect rubber seal (4) on underside of
adapter and ensure that it has no cuts,
tears or other damage.
Gravity feed adapter

Quick disconnect fitting

Before
Fuel Can
Check fuel can (5) and ensure that cap (6)
seals properly and that there are no
cracks in the can that would permit a fuel
leak.

Fuel Can Stand
Check fuel can stand (7) for bent leg (8),
damaged or missing fuel can stand
support arms (9). Check for frayed or
broken strap (10). Check clip (11) to make
sure it is not broken or missing. If fuel can
stand is damaged and cannot support the
weight of a full fuel can, replace stand.
Stand cannot securely
support full fuel can.
