OPTIONAL ITEMS (TO ENABLE OPERATION OF HEATER INSIDE TENT)
COMBUSTION EXHAUST KIT. The combustion exhaust pipe (1) is flexible and must be used when the
heater is used in its optional configuration inside the tent. This configuration is not supported by this
technical manual. However, the combustion exhaust kit is available as an Additional Authorized Item. Its
use outside the tent is suggested but optional. A “T”-handle clamp is chained to the heater end of the pipe
and is used to clamp the pipe to the heat exchanger exhaust outlet (2). Instructions for use are included
with the kit.
COMBUSTION INLET PIPE. The combustion inlet pipe (3) is flexible and is used when the Convective
Space Heater is used in its optional configuration inside the tent. This configuration is not supported by
this technical manual. However, the combustion inlet pipe (3) is available as an Additional Authorized
Item. Stainless steel ends on this pipe are drilled and when either end is installed on the combustion air
inlet (4) a retaining pin (5) is used to retain the pipe on the inlet. Instructions for use are included with the
kit.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED FOR USE WITH THIS HEATER
FUEL CAN. The 5 gallon (18.9 L) fuel can, listed on the AAL, provides a fuel source during heater
operation.
