39. Vent Pipe Assembly
a.
General. The vent pipe assembly is located on the rear of the heater, Fig. 23, Item 7.
b.
Removal. Refer to Fig. 25 and remove vent pipe assembly.
1.
Remove anchor clip from angle support; turn screw counterclockwise.
2.
Remove pipe by turning pipe and fittings counterclockwise.
c.
Cleaning and Inspection.
1.
Clean all parts with an approved cleaning solvent and dry thoroughly
2.
Inspect the vent piping for cracks, breaks, damaged threads and other damage.
3.
Replace a defective part.
d.
Installation. Install in reverse order of removal.
