Tool Kit, General Mechanics
Material Required:
Cleaning Solvent (Item 11, Appendix E).
Locking Compound (Item 6, Appendix E).
WARNING
Cleaning solvent, Federal Specification P-D-680, is toxic and flammable. Use only in a well-
ventilated area. Avoid prolonged breathing of fumes. Keep solvent away from flames. Do not
use in excessive amounts. Avoid skin contact.
Equipment Conditions:
Heater unit shut down and cool.
Power cable disconnected from power source.
Access door and air filters removed (paragraph 3-10a).
a. Removal.
(1) Remove tube assembly (2) from elbow (3).
(2) Remove elbow (3) from fuel oil filter (4).
(3) Remove fuel oil filter (4) from elbow (1).
