Column3-NationalStockNumber. This is the national stock number assigned to the item; use it to request orrequisition the item.d. Column4-Description. Indicates the federal item name and, if required, a description to identify the item. Thelast line for each item indicates the part number followed by the Federal Supply Code for Manufacturer (FSCM) inparenthesis, if applicable.e. Column5-UnitofMeasure(U/M). Indicates the measure used in performing the actual maintenance function.This measure is expressed by a two-character alphabetical abbreviation (e. g., ea., in, pr). If the lowest unit of measurediffers from the rest of the issue, requisition the lowest unit of issue that will satisfy your requirements.E-1
