Straighten bent mounting channel (1) and supports
(2 and 3) if possible. Repair damaged threads with
chaser. Clean, pretreat, and refinish rust spots in
accordance with TT-C-490, TT–P-636, and MIL–T–
704. Apply forest green paint (Appendix E, Item 11)
as necessary. Tighten loose parts, and discard
parts which cannot be repaired.
Refer to illustration and replace repaired parts or
install replacement parts.
