Remove burner assembly from heat exchanger (refer to
para 4-33).
Remove three setscrews (1) and pull burner (2) from
housing (3).
Remove nozzle from burner.
Inspect for cleanliness and condition of threads.
Remove filter and discard.
Install new filter on nozzle and install nozzle snugly on
burner, do not overtighten.
Inspect for cleanliness and secure mounting.
Check for signs of pitting, burning or cracks.
Inspect for cleanliness and secure mounting.
Inspect for burning or other signs of damage.
