GENERAL
The following illustrations and tables show the location and function of each control and indicator on the
SHA and its associated equipment. Table 1 describes the controls and indicators for the SHA.

FUEL FLOW CONTROL VALVE
Liquid
Controls fuel flow to burner.

FUEL SELECTOR CONTROL
Liquid
Sets fuel flow control for ambient temperature.
This is done by pulling up knob and rotating it
to the proper temperature setting.
Contains the following settings:
ABOVE 250F
This setting is for all authorized liquid fuels
(refer to WP 0001) when used above -250F
(-320C)
BELOW 250F
This setting is for all authorized liquid fuels
(refer to WP 0001) when used below -250F
(-320C)

FLOW ADJUSTMENT KNOB
Liquid
Controls fuel flow from float chamber to
burner.

FUEL ON/OFF CONTROL
Liquid
Controls fuel flow from fuel supply to fuel flow
control valve.

LID ASSEMBLY SIGHT GLASS
Solid or liquid
Allows viewing of flame in burner.

SLIDING DRAFT GATE
Solid
Controls heat output by limiting amount of air
flow into burner when using solid fuel only.
Burner Plate is in position when using
liquid fuel.
