Death or severe injury might result when compressed air is used to
blow dirt from skin or clothing. Air entering body openings is extreme-
ly dangerous. Compressed air used for cleaning shall not exceed 100
psi (690 kPa). Use goggles or face shield for eye protection.
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is potentially dan-
gerous to personnel and property. Flash point of solvent is 100° to
138°F (38° to 59°C).
Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat.
6. Safety filter
Check for obstructions. Clear obstructions
with compressed air. If safety filter (3)
fails to clear, soak in solvent. Shake off
excess solvent and again attempt to clear
obstructions with compressed air. If
safety filter still fails to clear, discard
filter.
lNSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
7. Safety filter
Install on pipe elbow (5). Tighten
securely.
8. Restriction
Install on safety filter (3). Tighten
indicator
securely. Press button (2). With
engine running, check again for the color
red visible in indicator window (1).
