Operate engine at least 2 minutes after stopping combustor or until
needle of discharge temperature gauge returns to green area.
9. Engine
Shut down engine.
10. Pressure gauge
Remove pressure gauge (4) and elbow (3). Install
and elbow
pipe plug (2) and tighten sufficiently to prevent
leakage.
NOTE
If unable to adjust pressure to 135 to 150 psi (931 to 1034 kPa) range, either
fuel pump or fuel control valve is defective. If engine runs poorly and indi-
cates not enough gasoline supply, replace fuel pump. Otherwise make fol-
lowing additional test.

Loosen setscrew (10) and remove
burner control knob (5).
Disconnect fuel tube (11) at tube
nut (12) and fuel tube (13) at
tube nut (14). Remove fluid pas-
sage bolt (15) and preformed
packing (16) and lift out fuel con-
trol valve (21).
Remove pipe cross (17) with
attached check valve (18),
adapter body (19), elbow (20),
and plug (2). Do not dis-
assemble. Install this assembly
on another fuel control valve (21).
