NOTE
and probe do not need to be installed for this test.
Lay carefully to one side.
17. Pressure gauge
Remove pipe
plug (2) and
install elbow
(3) and pres-
sure gauge (4).
Do not operate heater in enclosed space. Adequate ventilation is re-
quired to prevent buildup of exhaust fumes which can be toxic in con-
centrated amounts.
Wear approved ear protection equipment within 25 feet (7.6 meters) of
operating heater. Failure to do so may result in impairment or loss of
hearing.
18. Fuel pump
Start engine and retest. If pressure pump is adjust-
able to 135 to 150 psi (931 to 1034 kPa) range,
fuel pump is not defective.
NOTE
If fuel pump is not defective, complete installation of replacement burner
control valve as described in paragraph 4-44.
