Thermometer
If thermometer (5) does not read 280° ±10°F(138°
adjustment
±6°C), turn handle (8) 1/4 turn left to decrease
temperature, right to increase temperature. After
each adjustment, allow 5 minutes for temperature to
stabilize.
NOTE
When temperature is correct according to thermometer (5), compare with
discharge temperature gauge (9). Agreement should be within 10°F (6°C).
Greater temperature difference indicates defective discharge temperature
gauge.

Temperature
Set temperature indicator knob (7) on HIGH and
indicator knob
tighten setscrew.
NOTE
When temperature indicator knob (7) is set at 1, thermometer (5) should read
150° ±10° F (65.6° ±6°C) after temperature stabilizes.
REMOVAL
10. Duct adapter
Remove probes (10, 11, and 12) from bulb support
(13). Remove screws (14), washers (15), and nuts
(16). Lift off duct adapter (17).
11. Capillary shield
Remove screws (18), washers (19), and nuts (20).
Remove screw (21 ) and washer (22) and iii off
capillary shield (23).
