Heaters were not designed to be towed over highways at high speeds,
to do so is considered unsafe. Movement of short distances should be
made by hand. For movements of longer distances the heater should
be loaded into a truck, 2 1/2-5 tons.

Remove exhaust pipe (1) from exhaust stack (2). Install cover (3) on exhaust stack.
Remove air ducts (5 and 6) (refer to para 415), compress and lock into position. Install
discharge outlet cover (4) on discharge end of heater.
Place 6-inch air ducts (5), 12-inch air ducts (6), and duct adapter (7), on duct supports (8).
Close and latch front half hood (9), close access door (10).
