Once the corrective action has been taken, attempt a restart of the heater and verify that the problem no longer exists. Failure to shut the heater off before taking some corrective actions may damage the heater. The troubleshooting table that follows lists common malfunctions that you may encounter with your equipment. Perform the tests, inspections, and corrective actions in the order they appear in the table. Refer to the malfunction symptom index for a listing of all the problems that may be encountered and proceed to the troubleshooting procedure indicated in the index. This table cannot list all the malfunctions that may occur, all the tests and inspections needed to find the fault, or all the corrective actions needed to correct the fault. If the equipment malfunction is not listed or actions listed do not correct the fault, notify your supervisor and they will refer the equipment to unit maintenance.
