Pull off the carburetor and move it out of the way. Remove the five screws that secure the burner
to the heat exchanger. Pull off the burner and gasket. Inspect the six insulators inside the burner
end of the heat exchanger. These insulators reduce the transfer of heat to the carburetor so the
fuel doesn't percolate. If insulators are in good condition, go to next step. If not, replace them.
Pull out the insulators from the end of the heat exchanger. New insulators are split to facilitate
installation.
