Engage safety chain to louver to avoid serious injury whenever front
half hood is raised.

INSPECTION

Maintenance
Inspect for missing manual, torn canvas,
case
damaged fasteners, and loose mounting.
Tighten screws (1) if needed. Replace if
badly damaged.
REMOVAL

Maintenance
case
Remove screws (1), washers (2 and 3),
and nuts (4). Lift out maintenance
case (5).
INSTALLATION
3. Maintenance
With front half hood (6) raised, install maintenance
case
case (5) upside down using screws (1), washers (2
and 3), and nuts (4). Insert screws from outside of
front half hood (6). Insert manual and secure flap
(7) with fasteners (8).
