Inspect handle (1) for looseness.
Tighten setscrew (2) if needed.
Operate handle the full length of
slot (3) and observe shutter as
sembly (4) for full opening and
closing procedure.
Check lock nut (5) for looseness.
Do not overtighten, Handle (1)
should move smoothly but have
enough tension to prevent air
setting from vibrating out of
adjustment.
Check screws (6), washers (7),
and nuts (8) for looseness. Radi
ation shield (9) must be firmly
secured.
Shutter assembly (4) will not require adjustment if
properly installed. If handle (1) will not move through
out full range, first determine that all fasteners are
tight. Replace missing parts. If malfunction continues,
disassemble and locate faulty part.
