Components
Refer to exploded view and straighten or replace
and hardware
bent, damaged, or missing components and
hardware.
Do not weld frame with fuel tank attached.
2.
Trailer
Straighten bent portions by hammering or bending.
weldment
Replace cracked welds, replace missing weld nuts,
and retap weld nuts with chaser where required.
Replace any damaged parts. If trailer weldment
cannot be restored to safe, loadbearing condition,
replace.
3.
Painted
surfaces
Clean, pretreat, and refinish rust spots in accord
ante with TT-C-490, TTP636, and MILT704,
Apply forest green paint (Appendix E, Item 11).
