INSPECTION
5. Combustor
Inspect for burned components, broken welds,
clogged air holes, loose or damaged clamps, ex
cessive carbon or sulphur buildup, and other damage.
SERVICE
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is potentially dan-
gerous to personnel and property. Flash point of solvent is 100° to
138°F (38° to 59°C).
Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat.
6. Plate
Clean plate (7) using solvent and soft-bristle brush.
Replace if not in serviceable condition.

Combustor
Clean combustor (10) using solvent and soft-bristle
brush. Replace if not in serviceable condition.
INSTALLATION

Combustor
Install new gasket (11) and combustor (10) on
welded screws (12) and secure with nuts (8)
and washers (9).
Plate
Install plate (7) and fasten with overcenter
clamps (6).
Nozzle adapter
Install nozzle adapter (5) using screws (3) and
and igniter
washers (4). Install igniter (2).
CAUTION
When attaching high tension cable to igniter, tighten manually and
turn nut only about 1/4 additional turn. Avoid overtightening.
Igniter
Attach high tension cable (1) to igniter (2).
NOTE
Mount nozzle holder as described in paragraph 4-59.
