2. Ball bearings
Rotate ball bearings (5 and 6) slowly by hand. If
any roughness is noted, bearing should be replaced.
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 used to clean parts is potentially dan-
gerous to personnel and property, Flash point of solvent is 100° to
138°F (38° to 59°C) .
Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact.
Do not use near open flame or excessive heat.
3. Ball bearing
cleaning
If ball bearing (5 or 6) does not require replace–
ment, wash bearing in clean dry cleaning solvent
(Appendix E, Item 15). Re-oil with engine oil
(Appendix E, Item 8) during assembly.
