4-3 UNPACKING.
a. Before unpacking, move the packaged heater into the area in which it is to be installed.
NOTE
The shipping container is of such a design that it may be retained for reuse
for mobility purposes if frequent relocation of the heater is anticipated.
b. Cut metal bands(1). Remove lag screws (2). Lift container (3) vertically and remove it from base (4).
c. Remove barrier material from around air duct hoses and any cushioning.
DO NOT LIFT without holding unit in upright position. Otherwise, unit
will fall over.
d.
Remove lag screws securing heater frame to base (4). Lift heater off base.
e.
Remove outlet cover (5) and lay aside. (Do not disconnect cable.)
f.
Place flat board behind back end of heater frame, Tilt front end up until open end of heat exchanger
rests on board.
g.
Remove lag screws (6) and take wheels (7), brakes (8), backtow (9), tow bar (9A) and axle (10) out
of base (4). Attaching parts are in bags fastened to the major parts.
