Equipment Condition:
Lockwasher (Item 12, App E)
Unit disconnected from power source (para 2-8)
Control box cover removed (para 4-18)
General Safety Requirements:
Top panel removed (para 4-19)
WARNING
Rear panel removed (para 4-20)
Jack assembly removed (para 4-37)
Edges of sheet metal can be sharp and cause injury.
Supply duct cover removed (para 4-22)
Gloves should be worn when handling the heat
Supply air screen removed (para 4-23)

Disassemble only to the level required to make repairs.
Insulation should only be removed when necessary to gain access to another part/component or
replacement is necessary.

Removal (Refer to Figure 5- 10)
(1)
Loosen clamp (1) and remove hose (2).
(2)
Remove six screws (3), six lockwashers (4), six flat washers (5) and shield (6). Discard lockwashers.
(3)
Remove seven nuts (7), seven lockwashers (8), fourteen flat washers (9) and seven screws (10).
Discard lockwashers.
